A HEALING STORY

Monica Perez Borja is a dynamic force of nature whose rich cultural background informs her work as a spiritual teacher.   She was born in Quito, Ecuador, high in the equatorial Andes,  a place where snow-capped mountains are adjacent to the tropical jungles. From an early age, Monica’s cosmovision was shaped by this place of incomparable biodiversity where millenary Catholic mysticism and Pre-columbian cosmovision merged to create a one-of-a-kind syncretic culture. This energetic confluence of beliefs and natural diversity were seminal to her singular worldview and teachings. 

Monica attended boarding school in Europe where she cohabitated with kids from every corner of the earth, this multi-cultural experience further opened her mind. Later, Monica took a traditional path, studying economics and international relations in France, Germany and England going on to work at the European Union HQ in Brussels. Upon returning to her native Ecuador, she became the personal assistant to the President of Ecuador and later founded a socially responsible clothing line that employed at-risk single mothers. In 2004 her youngest daughter contracted a serious case of meningitis. It is here, faced with this dire prognosis, that Monica’s life is forever altered. She asked for a miracle, calling on her guides to help her, and in exchange for her daughter’s health, she vowed to devote her life to healing others. At this point the dots start to connect and she begins her path to becoming the powerful spiritual guide to so many.

After relocating to Miami in 2006 she furthers her studies and deepens  her innate connection with the metaphysical realm. In Florida, she continues to study Jewish Kabbalah, Reiki, Spiritual Astrology, Cathloic mysticism, Buddhist philosophy etc.  The combination of her insightful knowledge of these rich traditions, and her cultural background have made her a sought after lecturer and healer. From her home base in Miami, she travels all year long, helping people find their true life’s purpose in Lebanon, Spain,England, France, Bali, Ecuador, Mexico and throughout the United States.   Her clients range across the socioeconomic spectrum; from construction workers, to C-Level executives in banking, media and tech in the USA, Europe and the Middle East as well as internationally renowned artists, fashion designers and wellness influencers.
